AUES Pub Crawl 2017: Frothopoly, Adelaide, Friday, 24. March 2017

GO! Grab your closest friends, your fiercest rivals, get the fleet rolling, and bring your game ****, because that time of year has rolled around again. That's right. The AUES annual pub crawl is back.

Are you ready to take a chance on the 24th of March?

The Adelaide University Engineering Society are proud to bring you the 2017 version of your favourite pub crawl of the year. And this is no token event, no siree. It's safe to say you'll be flipping the table if you miss this one! You don't have to be a moneybags to join in the fun, $25 for your t-shirt will give you free entry to all the pubs and clubs on our list. And once you pick up a shirt at our O'Week stall, you're a shoe in.

We've got quite a range of different properties and establishments on board yet again, from Rundle St to Hindley St to Currie St and more.

The game of the year will commence at the uni bar and move stations from there. Your first purchase opportunities will be down the east end, before you head on round to the west end (they say it's the best end!), though there's a chance you may not exactly follow this path.

It's crucial to organise appropriate transport ahead of time as we don't think you'll find free parking anywhere, and you don't want to land on an expensive hotel for the night if you can help it.

We ask you to remember that its all just a game, and it's way more fun to make new friends than destroy old ones! Don't get strand(ed) on your own! The bonds you make will be like no other. Trust us, you'll have a wheely(barrow) good time!

The AUES was established at Adelaide University well over 70 Years ago. The committee consists of 20 Adelaide Uni students from engineering and non-engineering disciplines who sacrifice countless hours and the odd lecture to run the ever-growing club. The society organizes social events and opportunities of professional development for its members. The AUES strives to host innovative, safe and relationship building events. The AUES has evolved over its rich history and has demonstrated its ability to adapt to change by working closely with all stakeholders.

The AUES 2017 Pub Crawl is a annual, volunteer run, themed event that has grown exponentially over the last decade due to incredible organisation, project management, teamwork, stakeholder interaction and marketing. This is a fundraising event for a not-for-profit organisation. The proceeds are used to fund other society events including Barbeques, Careers Night, Networking Nights, Quiz night and Cocktail Night.
To ensure a safe 2017 event, the AUES is in the process of meeting with stakeholders, strengthening previous police relationships, utilising local community groups such as Encounter Youth, and developing strategies to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Stakeholders, or companies interested in advertising or sponsorship are welcomed to contact the AUES. Contact President Nuala O'Neill at
