Supporting families seeking asylum with complex needs: a legal information session for community workers.
This interactive workshop is designed to improve your capacity to identify and provide appropriate referrals in relation to common legal issues that arise when supporting families seeking asylum with complex needs arising from the intersection of family violence, child protection and migration law. 
Legal experts from the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Darebin Community Legal Centre will provide an introduction to the legal principles that apply in these situations, then assist participants to apply these principles through a discussion of case studies based on real life scenarios.
