Guided Ibis walk through New Farm Park, Brisbane, Saturday, 22. April 2017

Do you often wake in the dead of night, covered in pearls of sweat with an insatiable desire to right the wrongs done to the Ibis community? Do you sometimes find yourself sobbing when listening to Justin Bieber's, 'Sorry', thinking about that one anti-Ibis meme you accidentally liked on Facebook? Have you ever caught yourself wishing you were closer friends with an Ibis? Then this event is for you.

Join us on an informative ibis-journey through beautiful New Farm Park. Your host will answer any of your ibis related questions as you circulate the park to meet the resident Ibises. After the tour concludes we can head to the shade of a rich mahogany tree,* sip soft drink out of fine glassware and discuss our shared passion for Ibises by the roaring flame of a gas BBQ. A game of 'pin the beak' on the ibis will be available to play. BYO shirt to use our fabric paints and stensil to create your own ibis masterpiece - with $5/10 donation to be given to charity.

Special guest Professor Darryl Jones from Griffith University will be in attendance to talk to us all about the ibis.

Ibis pub crawl to be hosted by the Foundry, Greaser bar and the zoo - special code 'ibis' will get everyone discounts and free entry.

*alternative tree may be provided
