About the Presenter
Valerie Parv AM was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2015 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for significant service to the arts as a prolific author, role model and mentor. An Australian Society of Authors Medal recipient, Valerie is one of Australia’s most successful authors with more than 34 million copies sold, translated into 29 languages and available as ebooks. Valerie holds a master of arts from Queensland University of Technology and is the only Australian author to receive a Pioneer Award from RT Book Reviews, New York. She is an in-demand presenter of masterclasses and popular speaker nationally and internationally. The following parking options are available on campus:
1. Underground carpark, Kingsley Street – pass the Drill Hall gallery on Kingsley Street and continue straight into the underground carparking space here, which has lots of availability.
2. Llewellyn Hall multi-level car park. It’s then a short walk down University Avenue to the Harry Hartog store.
