National Club Championship Game, Sydney, Saturday, 29. September 2018

The National Club Championship Game is played between the top ranked Gridiron Australia teams in the NCC Rankings.

The inaugural NCC Game was played on 11 August 2013 at the Arena, Sydney University, with the Sydney Uni Lions defeating the Gold Coast Stingrays 45-13 to claim the 2013 NCC title.

The #1 ranked Sydney Uni Lions (NSW) and #2 ranked Central Spears (ACT) qualified for the 2014 NCC Game, which was scheduled to be played on Sunday, 17 August 2014 at the Arena, Sydney University. Unfortunately, heavy rain forced the closure of the venue and it was not possible to reschedule the fixture.

In 2015, the #1 Central Spears (ACT), #2 Rockingham Vipers (WA), #3 Adelaide Uni Razorbacks (SA) and #4 Sydney Uni Lions (NSW) were in line to be involved in the National Club Championship, but the transport costs made the NCC infeasible.

For 2017, the #1 Gold Coast Stingrays and #2 Sydney Uni Lions are investigating playing on the Gold Coast over the October long weekend.
