Move over Michelle Bridges, join award winning picture book author Michelle Worthington for an exclusive Picture Book Boot Camp. 
Michelle will take you through the process of writing for children, from idea to finished manuscript. Discover what it takes to write a great book for kids, and how to engage young readers using devices like tension, page turns and character development. This bootcamp will cover everything you need to know about writing and publishing your picture book. No previous knowledge of writing for children or the publishing industry is required. 
The cost of this workshops includes the cost of 1 (one) picture book manuscript appraisal and structural edit, including formatting for submission to publishers and agents, valued at $100. Details of where to send your manuscript will be given at the end of the boot camp.

- notepad and pens
- coffee/tea and a light morning tea
There will be a break and a Q & A session, and there will be an opportunity to buy signed copies of Michelle's books.
Bookings essential and places are limited.

A portion from the price of your workshop fee will be donated by Share Your Story Australia to enable a Dalit girl or young woman aged between 13 to 19 years old access to literacy education. These girls, who come from the poorest families, have been taken out of the education system to help work on the land, or in other ways earn money for their family.
