Science Alive! 2019 Launch, Goyder Pavilion Mezzanine, Adelaide Showground, Thursday, 01. August 2019

We are pleased to announce the launch of Science Alive! in 2019, 5pm to 7pm on Thursday 1 August in the Goyder Pavilion Mezzanine of the Adelaide Showground.
This FREE event, open to everyone, will also highlight the range of activities that will form part of National Science Week this year.
The launch features a thought-provoking presentation by one of the most recent winners of the Prime Minister's Prize for Science. Dr Geoff Rogers won the 2018 Prize for New Innovators for creating a robotic guidewire that cardiologists can steer with a joystick through the body to reach a damaged artery. He now leads two initiatives:- the first as CEO of a biomedical start-up company developing new solutions to antibiotic resistance; the second is a real-time system to adjust car wheel alignment. He is also mentoring future biomedical entrepreneurs.
MC for the evening will be international legend of science communication, Dr Rob Morrison.
Join us for a wonderful and inspiring evening, with refreshments and delicious nibbles provided through sponsorship of the event by the Adelaide Showground.
Places are limited so REGISTER NOW to avoid disappointment. If you have any questions, please contact enquiries@ .
