Single Landing Page (SLP)-User Acceptance Testing (UAT)-Session 4, Curtin University, School of Public Health, Wednesday, 20. June 2018

Single Landing Point (SLP)
The goal of SLP is to present all the Curtin offerings (e.g. units, courses, MOOCs) via a single unified interface, based on the following principles:

Be prominent as a global university
Emphasise connections and collaborations with industry partners and institutions (e.g. OUA, edX, University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University)
A simple search interface that works across offerings
Working towards a pick-and-mix model
Promote a simple enrolment process

Information Sources:
Information presented on SLP is derived directly from the primary source of truth:

Curriculum Management System (Akari) – curriculum approved by Faculty/University Courses Committee
Student Management System (S1) – availabilities of approved curriculum
Marketing Database (Course DB) – marketing overview, ATAR, entry requirements applicable for that year

This ensures information presented on SLP is current and reliable, as information has been reviewed and approved by the relevant areas before it is published.
The purpose of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is to validate the functionality of SLP.
