Smart Strategy Intensive: Get smarter with communications strategy, Melbourne, Wednesday, 03. June 2020

WHY SMART STRATEGY?
Whether it is engaging the community, driving participation or donations, or advocating and articulating policy, communication is a vital part of public sector and not-for-profit practice.
This two-day program, led by strategist, facilitator and coach Louisa Coppel, introduces the ACUMEN model of communication strategy — your fast track to smart strategy.
It’s more than just learning. You bring along an initiative, issue or program from your organisation and develop a strategy for it as part of the program. As a bonus extra, The Big Picture team is happy to review your strategy and provide feedback after the course.
You will leave the program with a thorough understanding of a robust thought process and approach to developing strategy that delivers measurable results — and a finished communications strategy that you can implement straight away.
WHO IS IT FOR?
If you’re a graduate or relative newcomer to communications, the smart strategy approach will make you more polished and more proficient in your practice.
If you’re an experienced communicator, but wrestle to find the time or bandwidth to get strategies done, this program will give you a new road map, and the tools to do it, smarter.
You can be confident of having more impact (and positive impact!) in your team.
