You might not be able to go to Italy today, but let us take you there once a week in spirit!

There are over 60 million Italian speakers around the world today and La Dolce Lingua continues to be one the most popular languages to learn. Whether you want to drink up regional culture (and vino) around Italy’s various regions or enjoy a Gondola ride , this course will guide you to get around and communicate with the locals.

We invite you to spend a few hours every week in Italy with us from the Tuscany's hills to the oldest University of Bologna, learn the language of Leonardo da Vinci, Monica Belucci, Giorgio Armani and Andrea Bocelli.

UNSW Global's Taste of Italy: Beginning Italian for Travellers is designed to create opportunities for real-life communication practice and connect you with the locals when travelling in the ancient cities of Rome and Venice amongst others . Taught by highly qualified native speakers, this class will help you to feel more confident when you get to travel to Italy - whenever that may be!

Some of the topics covered during this special program are:

1. Introducing ourselves in the Dolomites

2. Counting in Cinque Terre

3. Ordering breakfast in Florence

4. Cooking in Bologna

5. Booking a hotel room in Venice
