Tooth Fairy 2 NDK, Australia, Thursday, 01. March 2018

Tooth decay is our most common disease affecting over 11 million Australians each year, mostly each where food is trapped and brushing can't reach between teeth and inside pit and fissure developmental faults and has been increasing for children since 1999.
Over 80% of cavities occur in these faults which dentists prevent by placing costly sealants over chewing surfaces to block food being trapped which has indicated the need to study faults in baby molar teeth that fall out from 9-12 year old children, at the Australian Synchrotron to see the effect of fluoridation and other factors that reduce or eliminate these faults as part of STEM school projects that will last at east 5 years.
Parents of 9-12 year old children are asked to register here for theTooth Fair project and collect the baby molar teeth each year as thy fall out and keep them in a standard sized envelop for each child with First Name, date of birth, post code or country of birth and post code and name of school where the child when 12, can take the envelope durng Toith Fairy week at the school.
